Not a bad start for her at all. She ate all her breakfast. So far so good.

Today Tripper has her recheck for that broken tooth and "small" infection she had.

Dry day so far. Another I won't be around to finish planting the pickles.

Not even a hour and Ollie is begging for more food already.

Husband is on his own regarding his issues. Bit my head off when I suggested he ask for same day appt when he calls today.

Hope everyone has their best day yet.
 
Correction. It's raining. I just thought the sun hadn't come up yet. So I guess paperwork day after Trips visit.
 
Hubby calls Dr and of course gets the call center. They ask what's the problem. He says trouble breathing at night. They put through to nurse to make the appt. She asks what's happening. Does husband say "I stop breathing in my sleep" "continueous burping", "history of mini strokes in the last 6 months", "wife says my lips are blue" does he say any of that, no of course not. He tells them "my throat is scratchy" . :banghead::banghead::mad::mad:

Appt isn't until Friday. I told him something he told me once when I was have gallbladder attacks every night while waiting for surgeon to remove it. "If you go to hospital, just leave me a note that's where you are".
 
Sorry Paula, but I could not stop laughing; I would have sweared he would not push for the appointment! You have the choice: one like yours or another one who runs to ER as soon as he sees a small pimple!:p

Back to serious things! How nice to see Olive liking her reducie and the bounce already cleared!:cool: Good luck for Tripper!
 
So +4 and already 66. THE only thing she will eat for this was 20% food. So let her have just a smidge of it.

I swear I couldn't have made that up. Between Ollie and hubby I'm going nuts. @Ti-Mousse one more choice, not have a husband !!!!

That made me laugh. I did that for hubby after his motorcycle accident...didn't want to do physio, didn't want massage, didn't want to go back to surgeon....he didn't get a head injury in the accident but he was darn close to getting one after. Can anyone say frying pan?

A big hug for you Paula. They are maddening sometimes.
 
Left instructions to give Ollie smidge of 20% every 1/2 hr til I got home. He said he did but she didn't eat it. Now 58 which isn't bad but still.

Do I keep this dose and she's if she settles or do I drop another 0.5 units tonight?
 
Ok so on Tripper. Weight is the same. Mouth looks good. While waiting saw a lot of gunk in ear which vet cleaned out 1 month ago. Got a bunch of crap out while waiting. Saw a blood blister in one. Vet looked, cleaned both. Said other ear has a lot of little blisters deep in the opposite ear. He said it was from scratching. So we go back in a month to check on them.
 
Oh my Paula there's a lot going on today! Stay safe; I hope you have a basement or other form of underground shelter. I've been thinking a lot about my friends on this board with all the weather warnings in the US that we're hearing about here.
Olive, no need to go any lower. Nice job getting all those greens but please stay away from the sharks!
And....MEN! My first husband could not have handled this diabetic cat thing at all; pretty useless he was. The current one is much better but can't seem to decide on his own when to test. He'll skip the +3 test even though he knows that's Boomer's onset.... yet yesterday (when I was in my dentist appt) he tested at +9 even though Boomer was 302 at +6!:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
