This morning a doe gave birth next to my pickle garden. They moved to behind our large shed and now in the brush and tall weeds back there. They will be hanging around here for quite some time now. In a few weeks she/he will start venturing out of hiding some and we'll to see it more. Last year one doe and fawn were here all summer and one day was in touching reach as I watered the garden.

Ollie was feeling good last night. Alert, showing belly, glucoses not bad. Don't know if the very slight bup increase or the new bottle of caber. Hubby said she fell off the chair this morning. She sleeps right on the edge of it.
 
Ordered 4 cucumber trellis. Not one store carries them here. Our diy from scrape materials is falling apart after 10 yrs. They should be here before the pickles have grown enough to need them.

HAAAAAA! I hate to laugh at you Olive, I feel sorry that you fell off the chair, but I just find it SO CUTE when cats are sooo asleep that they fall off of things... sick, I know :D

Well guess hubby has to find something else to do today. The dawn is where he is finishing up the foundation.

I am SOOOO Jealous! I want a little Fawn in my yard :arghh: I'd be laying in the grass staring at her all day. How beautiful!

Poor Olive. I don't think it's funny at all for her to fall off the chair. I'd put a blanket around the chair for her!

Fawn is still there. I know to leave it be, but I just want to put a blanket over it. It's chilly, windy and we had a rain shower so it's wet, it must be cold.

YAY for a mid-cycle pickle!
My very first cat, Taffy, used to like sleeping on the back of the couch and she would fall off of it on a regular basis.
I am so jealous that you have that fawn in your yard! I would love that!

Momma came back and they went on their way. It's probably going to be awhile before I see it again and probably not close up like that.
