I know how you feel, the same happened to me! I was so dedicated to my kitty with CKD ending stage last year, I didn't notice Ti-Mousse was loosing a lot of weight; maybe I could have catch his diabetes right at the beginning if I would have been more attentiveI feel terrible that i didn't notice all this sooner, been overwhelmed since Ravan got diabetes.

.Hope you get a solution.
Yeah I was so busy with another cat I didnt notice either, please dont be hard on urselfGreat start to the day Ravan!
Re: Peggy Sue
Don't be so hard on yourself! The swelling could have come up overnight, infections are tricky that way. There is always the possibility that an antibiotic will be enough to clear the problem. Hopefully your vet will have more of an insight on the problem and it can be cleared without dental. Fingers crossed!
Feel better Peggy Sue![]()
he had an abscess and they pulled and cleaned his teeth,
Bella acted like he always did, they did it in the am and I picked him up in the afternoon and he ate when we got home, bella was 13How did Bella react when he came home from the dental? Years ago my cat hid in a dark room for a week. Every time I came in the room he hissed at me! He was never as affectionate with me as before the dental.
I'm so worried about Peggy Sue not making it with the anesthesia.
Did u ever hear from vet?
Oh yeah his chin and mouth, tooth abscessHe wants me to put her on Clavamox for 10 days. I told the tech I'm sure she needs the tooth pulled but she still told me to try the antibiotic first.
Was Bella's chin or mouth swollen at all?
How old is Bella now?
