? 5/19 Phoebe Squeak AMPS 193, +3 107, +4.75 67 +5 112, + 8.25 257 another reduction tonight?

Hi,
This is new to me -- Phoebe Squeak's numbers keep going down today even with a lower dose. I expected a bounce. I guess I need to reduce again this evening? Could this mean we are on the train to remission? All thoughts and advice appreciated. Thanks! FYI, 67 is on AT meter but yesterday 67 on AT was 41 on human meter.
 
Numbers with the two meters are different but both call for a reduction, under 68 on AT and u dear 50 on a human meter. While back to back reductions are usually not a good idea as the depot is in play, she is new to diabetes and might just be flying down the dosing scale. It happens. Being cautious, I would reduce. She will let you know if this reduction fails. Congrats.
 
She's doing very good! You already got an answer for another reduction but just make sure you follow her closely. I would do another test at +6 just to check she's still going up on her own or stable, but not going back down again! Good luck for the next reduction :).
As for the train to remissin, that's Phoebe's secret !!!! :cat:

Thanks for your help. I just checked again at +8.25 and she is at 257, but to be cautious as you said I guess I will still try another reduction tonight. How soon will I know if it's a failed reduction?
 
Well now you are getting the expected bounce so I’d consider holding the dose. I now think the depot was causing the low number so if you can monitor stick with the dose.
