Done, and he's eatenCopied from yesterday's post: You can give the Lantus and his breakfast to make sure he's eating, and then give the R in a slightly different location (like give the Lantus on the Left and the R on the Right).

the very best of luck. Hope you see some improvement.Yesterday
R day!

Thanks a bunch!Best of luck Sandy we're all rooting for you and Biscuit![]()
That sounds great, what do I do next, when do I test again? This is the scary part. What we're trying for is a maximum lowering of 100 points during the R cycle. So, hoping to see some pinks today, that the Lantus can better work with after the R wears off.
Got it!Your next test will be at +1. And then again at +2, +3, and +4 and we'll see how it goes from there.
Sincere thanksBest of luck Sandy we're all rooting for you and Biscuit![]()
Much appreciated!the very best of luck. Hope you see some improvement.![]()
Love the cheering section!!!!Go Biscuits!!!View attachment 44878
Yes 424!!!Did you get the +1 yet?
I'm Sandie! I didn't know what I was doing when I created my signature!!We are watching you Biscuit, make momma proud (can't post pic here at work)
I'm confused is it Molly or Sandy?

Okay, thanks for posting. Let's see where he is at +2.
This is amazingto watch with such a tiny amount of R. Will he need to need the R everyday or will the Lantus continue to work better?Yay, Pink!
Now perhaps, if he goes down another 50 points by the end of the R cycle, he may get to yellow once the Lantus takes over the job.

He's eaten throughout this. I give him a treat of FF after the poke. Does this matter!Your next test will be at +1. And then again at +2, +3, and +4 and we'll see how it goes from there.
Are we done until pmps?Lots of people feed their diabetic cats multiple meals throughout the day.
For poking rewards, you could also give him all meat treats like a piece of chicken (no spices) or J.D.'s favorite was a cut up cooked shrimp or some sliced up steak cooked with no spices. Also the freeze dried 100% meat treats are good, and all of the above have no extra carbs.
So, I'm so happy you saw pink today! Hopefully the Lantus can keep him in pink for the rest of the day.
Nice and easy, Biscuit.
I can make it to lunch with my friends if I'm done testing for nowAre we done until pmps?
Thanks so very much. I feel soooo much better knowing the numbers can go down!
Should I do R again tonight? You can leave and have a nice lunch with your friends. Maybe just get an out the door test to see if the Lantus is working on the BGs.
If you want to try R again tonight, change your Subject Line that you would like some guidance and I will put the word out too. Unfortunately, I can not stay up tonight as I have to work tomorrow.
No problem.Nice pinkies today.
In regards to name, the avatar name confused me. Since kitty is Biscuit I thought you were Molly. Forgive me for using wrong name.
.Looks like a fine night for R if you are up for it. I would do the same R dose of 0.25 units and the same testing schedule. I will be on and off tonight, out doing gardening but will check in at least hourly.
Are you worried you won’t be able to stay awake till +4?I'd like to wait for morning if it's ok. Feeling a little nervous to do it tonight. Will you be available tomorrow. Should I give the 14 u Lantus and the 0.25 R tomorrow then test like today? I'll shoot at 7:30 am
Maybe I should do it tonight. I just fed and gave him Lantus. Are you worried you won’t be able to stay awake till +4?
I think conditions are favorable; I’ll be around to keep you company. Up to you of coarse.Maybe I should do it tonight. I just fed an gave them Lantus.
Hope I don't get any surprises!I see that +1, the R may not have onset yet, paws crossed.
I see that +1, the R may not have onset yet, paws crossed.
Wendy, did you see the+2?I see that +1, the R may not have onset yet, paws crossed.
I'm testing again in 5 minutesYes, coming down a little, hard to say how much since Hi is just over 600.
1 more test?Sometimes the job of R is to limit how high a bounce goes. Biscuit could be bouncing from those pinks today.
