Going on holiday for a week. To test or not to test

Hi every one.

I'm going on holiday the 18th of this month and hubby's mom is staying with and looking after our kitties.
We have shown her how to test but she has only done it once.
At the moment sox is still doing well with out insulin so will not be needing it while we are away.
But just wondering would people still get hubby's mom to test every other day or would he be ok to go the week with out a test (I will test on the day we go away)

Yes that's what I was thinking. And maybe her trying to test might stress him out as she's not used to it
