Good morning!
AMPS 319 shooting 2.25u
Boomer ate all of his overnight food. I hope he's not bouncing from the drop last night
His bounces last way too long now.
Yesterday's trip to Point Pelee was good but the amount of birds was not outstanding
and many of them were at the top of very tall trees. It was a beautiful sunny day; apparently sightings are better on cloudy (rainy) days because the birds come down much lower. Well...it is what it is because I'm not taking camera equipment out in the rain lol AND I wouldn't get any photos I like because the light would be horrible. I did get some usable shots though and two or three "firsts" for me. DH saw 2 large birds flying and got my attention and I got shots figuring they were Herons....turns out they were Sandhill Cranes which I've been looking for! So I'm excited to have seen them....I didn't have the energy to do anything more than look at the images last night so that will probably be tomorrow's "photo of the day".
Today on the agenda....well it's rainy this morning but supposed to clear this afternoon so I'll go out later. DH has lunch plans with a friend so I will go out after he gets home.
