Today I have increased Mowgli's dosage to 1u BID. He was having a nice and steady blue curve on 0.75u but I wanted to test out 1u since last week I pretty well skated by that dose - and I have a feeling the greens Mowgli was seeing while we skated by 1u might have been from the 1.5u/1.25u built up depot. Hopefully everything goes well and Mowgli starts having a gentle green curve.
Since the last post I have started Mowgli on 1/8tsp BID Clearlax because he was having some dry old dusty poos. They seem the same but I'm hoping I will see a healthier deposit in the litterbox this evening. Nyx has also been helping herself to Mowgli's laxative spiked food so I guess she will also be having some healthier BM's. (she is way more interested in his food than hers
). Also I am feeding Nyx only wet food now.... hopefully she isn't starving - even if she is... she's the one who took interest in Mowgli's wet food.
I can tell that Mowgli is feeling better and better every day. He has been super annoying in the morning wanting his noms (on time!) AND he has been mega playful to the point he has picked up some of his old bullying tactics that he used to use on his sister Rajah. Now he is using them to torture Nyx... she does NOT like that. He literally chased her around the house the other day
. Poor girl doesn't know WTH is going on. We started a couple feliway diffusers around the house to try and ease some of the tension... fingers crossed.
Funny story: So PetValu offers Fancy Feast on sale 10/$5 every couple months... the sale is on now so of course I went there and decided to buy 100 cans!! Great Idea!! such a bargain!!! Turns out at PetValu if you ring in 100 cans of fancy feast you crash the entire cash system
. The poor cashier was new and it was her first night closing... did I mention that a lineup had managed to build up despite the fact there was no one in the store when we got to cash? It was such a sin, they only had one till and I had really messed up her first night closing (sorry sorry sorry). I told her to just put the cans to the side and I would come back in the morning to grab them 
. Where is the line of crazy cat lady? is it 100 cans of fancy feast?!
TLDR: New Dose, Waiting for laxative to work; Mowgli's back to his old young self, Nyx is living a tortured life; I crashed the cash system at PetValu buying 100 cans of FF.
