Attempted 4.25u.
The dreaded fur shot.

I don't understand why she was HI *again* yesterday.

I'm starting to feel like I had better (short term) control and regulation when I started shooting NPH 3x/day.

Sigh. :( I'm really disappointed.

I have to work a couple of hours during her +2. She's going to be HI anyway, so I am hoping it's okay to wait and test her around +4.

She is eating and drinking. Bowel movement last night was solid, though not perfect.
Polydypsia was high last night.

Magically Alice sailed pinks all AM with a FS cycle, and after PM, at +2 she's hit the yellows. :D

I need to start figuring out a plan on how to address her tumor growth thing soon.... (I've just been so exhausted nursing Alice on her weight and BGLs all month...)

Here is the link to the previous day’s post http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/...31-pmps-467-dose-increase-4u-to-4-25u.213835/

Since Lantus is a depot insulin, a fur shot will interrupt the depot. This means you can get higher numbers until the depot is built up again. You have been seeing some better numbers with a good depot, plus you may just have not reached the right dose yet.

What type of tumour?
