AMPS 230 shooting 2.0u
Boomer ate most of his overnight food, leaving about 2 tsp. He called me at 4:00 am again but when I didn't get up he came btb. I was shocked at his number at PMPS; and the +3 told me he was bouncing but I can't figure out what caused him to bounce; no low numbers and no drastic drops so idk. I'll give it another day or two then put him back to 2.25 which seemed to be a good dose for him until that really low cycle he had.
I've already been out but came back home within an hour. Not much out there, certainly no loons (there was a loon spotted in the pond I normally go to about half an hour before I got there yesterday). And it's very cold and windy.
Yesterday DH and I drove to Sarnia which is just across the border from Port Huron MI. Anyways, I had been told there were Common Loons there the day before. Well, I didn't see them of course. But the water was filled with these Red-Breasted Mergansers! Two photos attached: the second one shows him dunking his chest into the water and raising his head which is basically a "curtsy" to nearby females.
