Looks like Monkey's high BSL are still going 4 days later, still treating w Cerenia every day for the pancreatitis. Vet will finally be open tomorrow morning from the long weekend but I'm also wondering what folks here suggest?

Yes. I think you do need to start back with a small dose of Lantus. It has been 4 days now. That’s a real shame. Hopefully you can get the BSL under control quickly.

Thanks, helps the anxiety to confirm. Would it be best to start her at 0.25U? I've ordered some litter that detects ketones so I can see immediately when something is off. I feel terrible I went on vacation and didn't realize she wasn't well :(

I haven’t heard of litter that detects ketones. Are you sure it’s legitimate? Testing for ketones is a very good idea though.
You were not to know she was unwell. Don’t beat yourself up about it.
Maybe start off with 0.5 units and see if she responds. You can always increase or decrease. Are you able to test most days?

I'm glad I checked the litter after you said that because it actually doesn't test for ketones, but it will show if her urine ph is too low (ketoacidosis) or if there is blood. It's this stuff called prettylitter I decided to try and see if it lives up to it's claims... still waiting for my order to arrive though so I got some ketone test strips too. I'm off work for the next 2 days so I can test every 2 hours as she gets started her on 0.25U and we got a vet appt for Friday. We can do this!

Not really true. In DKA the blood is acidic, not necessarily the urine.

Overview
Diabetic ketoacidosis is a serious complication of diabetes that occurs when your body produces high levels of blood acids called ketones.

Thank you for catching that, I'm definitely glad I got more ketone strips anyway - I guess prettylitter is supposed to help catch a UTI? I'm not really sure though it looked promising :(
