Even the human insulins that are used in cats do not have the same impact in cats as they do in humans. The chart is human info.

For clarity, onset and duration listed on the chart are for humans. For cats the values are less. As a generalization, the listed values are about 1/2 that for cats.

Cats have a much faster metabolism. Insulin didn't last the same in cats as people
