4/21 Gaiden curve

How long have you been shooting? Since the only entries you have is today, need to know

Almost two years. I just started home testing not that long ago and I’ve done a few curves at home, but this was the first time I’ve used the spreadsheets and posted on here. I was previously sending my numbers in an email to my vet and she would adjust dosage or ask me to bring them in for an appointment. I decided to start using the spreadsheet and seeking advice here because I’m not confident in my vet’s knowledge of feline diabetes. I also just recently learned (from the Facebook group) that I should be testing before shooting every time.

OK....you'll need to hold the 1.25 dose for at least 6 cycles so we can see how he's doing now that you're testing.,

I saw on your other thread that you're working 10-11 hour days. Is there anybody who might be able to get a test somewhere mid-cycle for you?

If not, it's important for you to get tests when you can, especially on the PM cycle. Most cats go lower at night so it's really important to get at least a "before bed" test in....and if they're running low you may have to set an alarm

There are some good ideas in this "Is Tight Regulation possible with a full time job?" thread.....even if you're not doing TR there's still some good ideas!

I unfortunately don't have anyone able to come test in the middle of the day, but now that I know I should be testing at night post shot I'll make sure I get some random tests in and documented. The only testing that was previously happening was glucose curves during the day when I left them at the vet's office, so I didn't even know there was a difference between AM and PM cycles. Thanks so much for your help! I can see I'll be learning a lot from this forum :)
