Why is it that every time I think I’m going to need to start giving insulin again my vet is out? Ugh.
Except this time . . . I actually gave it. Anyway, my vet said to call the office and let them know if I end giving it.
I called and the other vet on site called me back and said that I needed to start at 2u. I told her that I started at 0.25.
She said you can’t give 0.25 on a u-40 syringe.
Oh yeah, she told me that giving 0.25u was equivalent to me injecting Gracie with water.
Pretty sure water is cheaper than my vial of Prozinc.
