Our boys have really taken to anything Weruva pretty reliably, with the exception of the baby of the family who is proving to be pretty picky. I was looking into the BFF PLAY line as he does lean more towards pates than textured varieties, which I believe is a newer line and does not appear to be on Dr Lisas list.

I went to their website and after 10 minutes of stumbling about trying to calculate carbs based on guaranteed analysis for individual flavors, I saw a little button for a nutrition page. :banghead:

I was blown away with their nutrition page. PDFs for each line showing ME values ,as fed values, and dry matter..... INCLUDING CARBS. I downloaded each to my Google drive to have on hand. I wish other manufacturers were as transparent, it takes so much of the guess work out of the equation!

Where can you find Weruva and is it texturized? My kitty hates pate or any mush foods. I've tried Nutrish (won't eat), FF shreds, FF prime (won't eat those), and Tiki cat (he eats, but too low in carbs). I can't find any wet food he likes :(

We find it at Petco or PetPeople, it's also available on chewy. They have textured varieties and some mushier ones as well. Most of the original cans have a little photo showing what the texture looks like, and their website has good photos too.

Our sugarcat LOVES textured food, and will eat anything he can get his maw on. His brother will only eat texture if it's fish, and prefers a mix, and the runt seems to only like pates and Dr Elseys dry. He'll even lick textured good dry, just licking up all the moisture!

I switched both Dusty and my civie to Weruva because of a food allergy my civie was having. They love Mideast Feast but it's too chunky for them so I have to mash it and turn it into something close to pate but not quite. They love the stuff and both are leaner and healthier now.
