we're making progress.
He's on 4 units of Lantus am/pm
I'm going away for the day and won't be able to test past +5 I will be home to test pre shot. I originally wasn't going to be home but I'm going to make sure I will be here to test pre-shot and shoot. My husband is here but he can't test. I'm getting encouraged by these numbers!!
Hoping for better numbers!
Has anyone given lysine? Vet recommended it for his eyes. Several types available. Powder, treats, gel. Any suggestions?

I would add to your title something like. “Can’t do pm pretest, ok to shoot without?” That will definitely get some attention.

It is not normally recommended, not sure what advice for this would be. Especially since you got that nice lower number this morning! May depend on how his BG is looking before you leave.

How soon after pm shot will you be back in case there is a problem?

I am hoping someone with more experience will respond soon.

Here are instructions I was given, I could not figure it out either, lol


To link your previous day's post. Call it up and highlight it's URL (on the top line of your browser's page). Hit the browser's "Edit" button and select "copy" from the drop-down list. Then, at the top of your today's post write something like "yesterday" or "previous". Highlight the word you typed. Go to the symbol that looks like a chain link and click on it. A box will open up. Go back up to the "Edit" button and select "paste". The URL will appear in the box. Hit the "insert" button.

Great job getting a new condo up. Every day is something new learned.

Looks to me like you will be back for PMPS so I think Julie just misunderstood. Have a great day.

PS. Do you think hubby (aka DH = dear husband) can learn to test? As Biscuits’ numbers get better, he might need a bit more testing during the day if you are gone to keep him safe.

 
It was a stretch getting him to give his shot but I'm not sure that will work! it's very unusual that I go somewhere during the day of course this was pre-planned and as things go, things happen on the wrong day.
I thought I got the yesterday post linked but I guess I didn't!!!
I just fed him an hour ago and I'm leaving in about 15 minutes should I still test him before I leave. That's if I can find him. when he hears me unzip the glucometer case he's getting smart and now he's hiding

Great you were able to change plan and be home for pre shot now and I see you were able to get the link in there now too!

Still trying to figure it out! I understand what to do When I open the post new thread box is

I just can't get it. I understand what to do but can't get it.

Hmmm, did you actually click the little icon for “link” looks like a paper clip sort of? If you just copy yesterday’s post (from url address window at top of screen) and paste directly in new thread box, not sure that will work.

You need to click link icon in new thread window then paste yesterday’s url in the box that pops up and click insert. You can change the name, but
I just leave as the full link as is.

This is what link icon looks like, much smaller of course, lol.

Yes that's it. Use the icon IF you want to use a single word like yesterday or previous.

Not using using the icon puts the whole address in post. That's okay as long as it's there.
