Friday the ear flush late Friday helped thru the afternoon on Saturday. Then the head shaking started again- obviously there is bacteria and spores multiplying again :(.
OMG, it has become progressively more difficult to get her ears to bleed. Poor little girl her ears are not only sore so when I hold the earlobe that is not comfortable and then poke, poke, poke… Knowing I need to keep going and get readings. I am unsure of whether I will get a +6 1/2. At this point with BG readings as they’ve been today I think I am OK even if she dips down into upper greens which is a telltale for future reduction, I am going to wait till PMPS. I guess I just now decided
How do kitties, why do kitties get ear infections?
At age somewhere 19-21, Nelli has never had an ear infection?

Oh, Nellli and Krystina, so sorry to hear that there is one more thing for Nelli to have to endure.
I think diabetes can contribute to fungal and other infections - I'm not sure, but it seems to make sense to me.
You are one good cat mom, Krystina.

Thanks Joanne, I appreciate your kind words <3.
Hmmm, so diabetes a possible cause :(.

Listen, you do such a great job taking great care of Nelli, just keep plugging away.
I don't know why we get these little challenges as we do, but these babies need us to take care of them, and so we do and will.
Hang in there, Krystina.
