I so agree with you Carla. And to add, I always felt more confident (in my own thought processes) when a long term, much more experienced contributor would (or does) give the same advise.I just wanted to throw this out there. I've seen lots of people post the same advice someone else has given in a condo. I think sometimes people don't have time to read what others have written and want to make sure the advice is given so they post. Don't take it personally. I also think sometimes they just post the same thing to back up what others have posted, meaning a second person giving the advice.![]()

Peggy Sue is Hanging in there. I've started giving her CBD OIL every day & it's getting her to eat a bit more. It also makes her feel better.( I am looking for a Miracle, as we all are )how is Peggy Sue doing?

Interesting comments. Here's yet another perspective:Your comments are appreciated ! You said some people don't have the time to read what the previous person wrote. Isn't my time just as valuable? Not to be acknowledged is very discouraging.
I've been told I wasn't compassionate & I need to "walk in their shoes" because I responded to someone, it was clear they didn't want my advice. ( I had spent hours looking up info & giving encouragement)
If I didn't tell people to click "Like" to let me know they read it I wouldn't get "any" responseRarely do I even get a Thank You! This happens frequently.
This forum is my first time on social media. I don't even own a cell phone. So it's not only been a learning experience with Diabetes but with communicating on a forum. (I didn't even know what a spreadsheet was)
My work experience has not been in an office. Ask me about Plumbing or electrical work & I can help.
I keep telling myself to stop trying to advise people but when I see someone post for help I remember how it was when I started & I want to help them.
When my boys were young they told me I was mean,I responded, " being a mother is not a popularity contest, life is hard, deal with it " I guess it's called tough Love!(they laugh about it now)
I sincerely want to help but I don't think my kind of attitude is suited to what people want to hear. Now days they don't want to hear the truth, & I can't handle "bullshit".![]()
I guess I don't want to "Waste my time" repeating what someone else just said. Here's yet another perspective:
