She was safely lagooning or beached all night !!!! Iz think she is heading towards another reducie very soon. Or if she stayed just like this, that would be great. Wishful thinking I know.
 
Just got call from vet. Her labs are pretty much the same as last ones. She is emailing them to me. She did say the p'titis is better. It's under a 100 now but should be in the 20's. She said we could change diet to Rx but since her diabetes is doing good she doesn't want to change anything. She said with dogs it's the fat content but that's not true for cats. So at least she okay on that point. She said it's the only thing she can think of that might help. I told her I will go look at the food list and see if I can find a lc, low phos (prevention), low fat on it. If there is one, I'm willing to try it.
 
Dr ordered Cisipride 5 mg twice a day. Does that seem like a normal dose? I can not find any dosing info on it for cats.
 
She is looking so good! Glad that your vet understands about the fat content more crucial with dogs not cats. Gosh, there is so much we have to keep track of with these sugar babies with multiple issues.

Don't know nuthin' about Cisipride. Hope others chime in.

Oh Paula I’m sorry you have to find another new food now with low fat

I gave Allen cisapride and I know we started off 2x per day and reduced it to 1x per day (it didn't help with the constipation but just generally seemed to make him feel better) but I have no idea how many mg each pill was.
