I’m home from my weekend trip and on 3u there were no more scary lows for my daughter to deal with. He spent the rest of the weekend in the yellows. After I got home last night I took him back up to 3.5u and he’s been in the blues since early this morning. The 103 at last nights +10 was a little surprising since his depot probably hadn’t had a chance to refill yet, but he’s been pretty stable today. I plan to continue at 3.5u tonight and hope to see a nice undramatic green.

It’s still amazing to me how much better he just seems to feel since we switched to Lantus, and even more so when he’s seeing good numbers.

And after all the drama of the past few days, I completely brain farted tonight and shot before I tested. The PMPS is 15 minutes after eating and probably would have caused me to question giving 3.5u again. Will check again at +2...

I might get a +1. You don’t have one of those on Lantus. Good to know whether he’s getting a food bump or still dropping, which will allow you to intervene sooner.
