? Fish oil

Is fish oil ok for not raising numbers? If so what kinds are best with cosequin? Thx for the help

Fish oil is fine. I use Nordic Naturals from chewy for my girl. Fish oil helps with many health issues.
Just make sure you dont keep it past what it says on the bottle. It really only lasts a few months in the frig.

I've been wanting to try fish oil for our buddies. Two of them have some serious dandruff and the vet said fish oil would likely help, but might set us back on weight loss goals for my youngest guy. We've held off for this reason, but I may still give it a shot.

I use Nordic Naturals, for 5-9 # it is 1/2 ml, 10-14# 3/4 ml per day. The bottle says it is good for 3 months after opening. The small bottle is 60 ml

The pet stores may sell different brands and may be much more expensive.
Chewy online is cheaper for alot of stuff & they ship very fast.
I used to add in food but she wouldnt always eat it so now I just put it in her mouth after she gets her meds.
She likes the flavor.
