Sugar for Crashes

Hello! Kitty just had her first insulin dose. I read in the literature the vet gave me to have some sugar on-hand, in case she bottoms out. What do you recommend? I saw that Karo syrup is a possibility, but light or dark? The light one has salt and vanilla.

Have some higher carb food in the house... gravy type food and the Karo with nothing else added or honey is fine too. Don’t use one with salt and vanilla added
