Hello, so a question on pee...

Willow is pretty well regulated, and is definitely drinking less than she used to, but she still visits the water bowl fairly often through the day for short drinks. She still has a lot of pee and pees many times through the day. I've never fed a 100% canned diet to any cat before this so I don't know how much she should be peeing; She eats 100% canned FF/weruva, just over 2 cans a day total, and she gets a *lot* of water added to each meal (at least 1/2 cup over the day, maybe a lot more).

I just (yesterday?) switched from pellets to clumping litter, and she's had I think 8 clumps of around this size since this morning, so maybe over 14 hours. (I took this photo from the internet, it's not her actual clump).

Would you all say this is "normal" or excessive? I know ECID, but I don't know if I should worry about kidneys/thyroid or whatever.

Thanks so much! With love, Nikki

Her SS looks lovely.
If you are giving her extra fluids she will pee more but it is keeping her hydrated.
Keep giving her the extra water.
If you are concerned you could have her kidneys /thyroid tested. The urine test would have a lower specific gravity ( which can be a sign of kidney issues) anyway because of the extra fluids you are giving.
My two non diabetic cats do an average of two pees a day. I’ve been giving them a tablespoon of water in their food the last few days and I can see the pee balls are larger.

My cats pee balls are 2-3x bigger. I'd say this is normal. Lol

Thanks everyone! Appointment at 1 today for u/a and blood pressure and bloodwork. Morning pee sample is very bloody, which scares me because I don't think her numbers reflect that, she's so stable...
