Good morning!
AMPS 202 shooting 2.0u
Boing boing boing

Boomer ate most of his overnight foods, leaving about 1/4 of one serving. He snuggled with me most of the night :bighug::cat:

Yesterday DH and I took a drive to a conservation area on the other side of our city; I haven't been there for years but I had heard that there was a certain bird hanging around that I had never seen before. Well, it didn't appear unfortunately but we did see 12 different kinds of birds and I photographed 11 of them including this Fox Sparrow, also a first for me.

Today on the agenda: hopefully going to a weekend market; there is a vendor there that sells natural products such as creams, makeup, hair products etc and I desperately need something for my dry hands. Also, I found out about another area (again on the other side of the city) where there are some migrating ducks hanging out and apparently you can get pretty close to them so if the weather and Boomer (and DH) cooperate, perhaps we'll take a drive there.

Lovely pictures! Sparrows are among my favorite birds (which is why named one of my cats after them).

Hope that Boomer, your DH and the weather will let you get out of the house this afternoon.

We used to have a Fox Sparrow at our feeders when we lived in Brooklyn. They are big sparrows! Great pic.

So nice that you and DH could get out to explore some new birding areas.

Lagoon duty tonight, Deputy Boomer?

Glad Boomer brought down the PMBG.

What was the bird you were on a quest for yesterday but didn't see?

Nice photo of the Fox Sparrow, not sure if I have seen one before. I am learning so much about birds through you!

I like the Cetaphil moisturizing cream. I have eczema and if I use it often I can keep the areas on my hand smooth.
