February 23, 2019 - Reduction earned

Good morning everyone!
Even after all the leaking fan/roof drama of yesterday, Lou stayed almost stupidly steady (only a variation of 4 points). It was absolutely fantastic to see! However, all that went to hell in a hand basket last night when he earned himself a reduction with a 36 at +8. I'm really surprised, because he hadn't even been flirting with 40s, let alone a BG in the 30s, so it kind of came out of left field. Thankfully he came up with some 20% HC food and is still surfing (in the 70s, go figure). He has been doing SO well on the 3.25u, so I really hope that can continue on the 3.0u. I don't want him to lose any progress!

Thankfully my BIL came through in a big way with our leak yesterday and the dripping water on the fan eventually stopped completely. Everything is still in working order, but we're still keeping that fixture off for now to ensure everything is dried out. We're having yet another blizzard today (our 5th of the year), but it's exciting that it's the first happening on the weekend instead of a day I have to work. In this case, it's only a ground blizzard, so no extra snow, but we're having continuous winds of 30 mph with gusts of 50+. So we'll be staying in and staying cozy today. Thankfully Caleb doesn't have to work tonight!

Reduction was earned last night no need to stamp you're paws about it.

(I take it you are keeping the dose at 3u, back to back reductions not usually being advisable?)

Definitely staying at 3.0u. We follow 3x under 50 or 1x under 40. I'm not going to count the 44 against the 3.0u, since the depot is obviously still at play. Does that sound crazy?

No I think that all makes sense, I was just checking, because it said reduction on todays condo, as well as yesterdays, so I just thought I'd mention it.

Congrats on that reducie! I know exactly how you feel...seems like we've hit the magic dose to keep them in the lagoon...and there they go ...doing that thing that causes them to 'earn' a reduction...sometimes I feel doubtful about Luci's ability to 'earn' a reduction...I feel like it's a fluke...but what do I know??? So she gets a reduction and then sputters out of the lagoon...and drifts along until she gets an increase...up/down, up/down...we're on a marathon of ups and downs... I just tell myself to buck up...figure that's why I'm here...to serve

Hope he will finally - this time - make his way down the dosing ladder - as I hope for all of us 'old timers' here..we're staying at this pawty too long, huh?
