Good morning everyone!
To say Lou surprised me last night is a gross understatement, although I should be used to these kinds of surprises by now. I didn't bother to do a before bed check last night (I went to bed early, so with him being at almost 300 for PMPS, I didn't think it would matter). You can imagine my surprise when I woke up this morning to see that Lou wasted no time going right to the lagoon and surfed the night away. :D As always, he should never be allowed a pokie break, because he never really behaves the way you think he will. If you test frequently, he gives you higher numbers, and when you give him a break he goes down instead of up. Ah, this kid, haha. I hope he can keep up the surf today.

Unfortunately Caleb's car is not starting, and something is obviously wrong. The sad note here is it's only 2 years old, so there shouldn't be anything wrong at this point, not seriously wrong. So now we'll have to pay for a tow to bring it to the car shop, and then pay for whatever is wrong with it... It never stops, does it? :blackeye:

I hope you all have a wonderful day and your kitties surf safely! :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Wow Lou that is some statement. I have the same pokie issue with Olive.

Do you have AAA? That would cover towing. Hope it isn't something major.

Our kitties do like to keep us on our toes. I hope Lou surfs safely today. I hope whatever is going on with the car is not expensive to fix.

Ugh, I wish. I haven't had need to use a towing service in years. My parents used to have AAA, and that saved my bacon a couple of times, but I always thought it was too expensive for me on my own. My coworker told me she has a $5 plan through her insurance for towing. I might have to look into that. Apparently the car place thinks it sounds like the battery. We're going to try to jump it... again... tonight and see if that gets it started. If not, we tow it there tomorrow. I do NOT miss having car issues. Definitely don't expect this on a new car though. That defeats the whole purpose of buying new!!

Lou had a great AMPS - hope the rest of his day went as well :)

Hope you can get that car issue sorted out - hopefully with new it's under warranty - or at least just something simple - even a new battery seems a little unlikely already...??

Wahoo! Lou had a great day today, but it looks like he's heading for a bounce tonight. Apparently he wants the break now, but we'll see how long that lasts, haha.

We tried jumping with my car again after work but nothing even lit up. Thankfully Caleb has a roadside assistance plan covered under his warranty, so they're sending someone out to "boost" the car, because even that guy says it sounds like it's the battery. If that doesn't work, we'll call them back and have them tow the car to the car shop.

Can you just buy a new battery and Caleb put it in? Had to do that to mine last year.
Well, the boost didn't work at all. Apparently the tow guy has had THREE calls on Honda Pilots today and they were towed in and they started after warming in the shop. So he suggested waiting until tomorrow, when it's supposed to warm up a bit more and see if it starts, if not, bring it in. That's not a bad idea, although neither one of us have any idea how to put in a battery. Gosh sometimes I wish I would have gone into being a mechanic... the money I would have saved!
