It has been a while since I posted on here.
Willow has well been willow. My SS notes are not very detailed, sorry in advance.
Here is what has been going on with her.
Beside insulin she is on a inhaler for asthma and high blood pressure medicine.
We had been at 1.5 in twice a day for a long time when she kept dropping into danger zone. I decided to drop her to 1iu twice a day and this seemed to do the trick.
Than she stopped eating all of her food and kept heading into danger zone. We tried a few different types of food and still the same thing. The only thing she would eat was chicken gravy food! HC! Ugggg! What was interesting was she was still dropping into danger zone. Thinking something must be wrong I took her to our vet. She lost a pound or so, her blood looked great. She did have a canine broken that had to be removed. The vet advised to try willow a few days with no insulin on LC food. Willow would only eat her HC chicken and gravy. Yet she stayed between the 200-300bg range. It does not make sense. I gave her .5iu tonight and will see what happens over the next few days.
We would love to get her back on LC food.
FYI she almost always eats pre test in the morning and at night so her ps is always affected.
