Good morning and Happy Valentine's Day!!!!
AMPS 83 shooting 2.25u
Boomer and I had another pj party last night but....get this....he stayed at exactly 59 for 4 hourly tests in a row!
o_Oo_Oo_Oo_O
The 4th time he did it I started to doubt my meter and tested myself. All is good, I was 97 lol

But once again I cannot go with DH to his appt :banghead: this makes 3 days in a row now; twice because of Boomer and once (yesterday) because the guy our contractor hired to do the tear-down had to leave to take a truck full to the dump and needed to get back in the house and although we've given our contractor a key neither DH nor I had any desire to give this other guy a key or our garage door code.

We got dumped on yesterday and I think we got about 6-8 inches of snow. Today is supposed to be clear and I've already seen a lovely pink sky to the east.

Today's photo was taken last month and is a Redtail Hawk!

It's been so very loud here; contractor is breaking up our bathroom tiles and I don't know what he's using but I can feel the whole house shaking. Just checked on Boomer when there was a break in the noise level; had to drag him out from under the bed and he's very scared. Took his bg just in case the stress was dropping him; he's at 74. I think the worst of the noise is done now, hopefully.

Good job Boomer! Nice Valentine's present for your mom

Great photo of the Hawk (I'm still trying to figure out how to keep him out of my yard come spring? I'm worried he might hurt my kitties!)

Happy Valentines' Day!
Deputy Boomer, lookin' good and keepin' the kitties safe in the lagoon. Bravo! Now, don't stress over the renovation. It'll be over pretty soon.

Sorry you couldn't go with DH today, Judy. But I'm sure he did just fine. I never took Edward with me on my 2-hour daily drive (1 hour each way). You guys are lucky you can walk to the hospital.

That's a wonderful shot of the Redtailed Hawk. I came across an interesting article in the NY Times today: about a Cardinal that is half male and half female. Here's a link: https://www.nytimes.com/2019/02/09/science/cardinal-sex-gender.html

I believe I have seen a bird that looks just like the one in the article. When I saw it I thought it was a female that was a bit more brilliant than the rest. Very interesting indeed!
