what is a good and inexpensive glucose monitor that everyone uses? I have been using relion micro but it is discontinued. I liked it because it was the smallest blood needed.

Freestyle Lite...expensive strips (they all are in Canada) but tiny amount of blood, which I love.

I've been good with the Relion Prime as well.

I use the Relion Prime meter also. 50/$9 bucks. I started off with the micro but quickly switched as the strips were 1/2 the price. If you are testing often, it really adds up.

I use the OneDrop meter/subscription service. I used to use the Relion Confirm - from Walmart - but they discontinued the strips. I prefer the OneDrop because I test a lot and the drop of blood required is as small as the Relion Confirm. There are different subscriptions - I get the 'unlimited strips' for $49.99 per month.

You can also get strips that work in the Confirm.....These Glucocard01 Sensor at ADW strips are the exact same strips.

Arkray (who makes the Glucocard) also made the Confirm and WalMart just put their name on it. It's the exact same meter
