Morning All, a little late posting this mornings numbers.
Again a promising yellow, but he's now shot up to high red at +6. I am super annoyed with myself, I had intended getting a +7 last night to see if he was still heading down. Because I seperate him from the civies at night so they can graze on their wet food, and BFG won't steal, after checking his BG and giving him his snack at +6 I went up to my room, and sat reading my kindle in bed, I remember checking the clock (I was wide awake at this point) and thinking 11.40, just 15 minutes and I will go grab that +7, next thing I know alarm is going off and its 5.45 am:banghead::banghead::banghead:. I should have set an alarm, but DH was asleep and I didn't want to disturb him more than necessary.
So now I don't know what happened last night, is this a bounce of a low, or it's also feasible, given how quickly he dropped in the pm that the reason for the bounce was that drop of 200pts in that first half of the cycle.

So He's feeling good, he is eating well, was alert, appy good, he's given himself a bath this morning and poop and peeing OK (pee output seems normal for him) He's lying by the patio doors, snoring in the midday sunshine. Well he get's a pokey break till pmps, will shoot a little early as I have a yoga class to go to, and that allows me to get a +2 before I leave, I'll be back by +4, DH can test if we need it.

Prayers and vines to all kitties and their beans

Surf Safely kittens.

Seems like that happens to a lot of us - good intentions to get up in the middle of the night are often overwhelmed by the need for sleep. Enjoy yoga! Tell George to bring it on down - we're all cheering for him to shake off that steroid shot and get back to the lagoon. :)

Time to stop bouncing George.

So today is day 8 after the steroid shot? Maybe the bouncing isn't such a bad thing should the steroid wear off abruptly. I always try to see the silver lining...

I couldn't stay asleep at PM +6 -+7 if I wanted to. My eyes just open up and usually BOB is hanging over me mewing in my ear :cat:

Yoga! Enjoy. I need to get back to my yoga and T25. The winter has giving me a roll. ( have to blame it on something!)

Indeed, I just don't like the uncertainty of knowing how low he went.

I think I'm out of practice. If past experience is anything to go by he would come and shout for me if he was too low. Will do better tonight.

One of my Chickadees (one of the boys) is poorly too, I don't know if he got into a fight with his brother, or if he wasn't feeling well and got picked on by the rest of the flock. Anyways he's in the utility room recovering in Georges cat box, his eyes were all bruised and closed up, one has opened up now, but I'm having to hand feed him and keep him hydrated, every hour or so to see if he'll pull through, he seems a teeny bit better today, so paws crossed. It never rains but it pours.

I think I'm going to have to to find him another home too, if I try and put him back in with the rest of the ladies and his brother the flock will be unlikely to welcome him back. Usually you can't keep two boys together, as they'll fight but these two have gotten on just fine, maybe it's because spring is in the air and they have gotten a bit territorial. A friend of mine has a large flock and said she would take one of them if we had any problems. It makes me sad, since we reared him from being just a chick, but if she'll have him at least he'll have a good home.

Maybe he didn't go a lot lower last night than 295. That was a big drop from the PMPS enough to make him bounce like crazy. It's feasible that he surfed yellows the rest of the cycle and started the bounce this AM. I sure know what you mean about not knowing. Better luck tonight with getting a later number.

How sad about the little chickadee. I hope he recovers! And, I didn't know that you were tending to one. Interesting about two boys fighting, who would think that such cute little birds could be mean spirited. Guess it goes to show you that you can't judge a book by it's cover.

Enjoy the Yoga and do an extra stretch for me. :bighug:

I was thinking earlier, wouldn't it be just like BFG to decide he would try being a late nadir kitty just like his pal BOB:rolleyes: was, changing places so to speak
I know that's the paranoia talking:oops:
Gill! OMG! I was thinking the same darn thing this morning!! Who knows, he could be mixing it up.

Yes, Bubba has started nadiring early this rodeo. I have it all ways, late, in the middle and now early.

Glad George is feeling well since that is top priority. I hope he clears that bounce soon.

Ha I think this must be a rule in the FD Rulebook, under the chapter Advanced Settings/ How to Befuddle the Bean:rolleyes:
Does that chapter also include how to plan low bg numbers when the bean can't be there to monitor?
Or possibly how to make sure the AM preshot is at 100 or 101, 200 or 201, etc just to make your Bean frustrated at being so close and yet so far?

The flock can be quite ruthless, who would have known!

:joyful::joyful::joyful::joyful:
They have their own chapters I'm sure, the kitties are sworn to keep the rule book a closely guarded secret, they don't want the beans to get the upper hand, but occasionally we get a glimpse, but we can all guess what sneakiness is endorsed in the book

Wow on the Chickadees! I never knew they could be kept as a domesticated flock. Here they are boreal forest birds. Perhaps in Spain they are a different species?

Glad to hear that George is feeling good. Now, Deputy George, it's time to put in some hours in the lagoon!

It's just what I call my flock of hens, didn't know they were an actual bird:oops:
Oh! I thought you were talking about actual chickadee birds. Too funny! I was wondering to how you could have a flock of birds...
