Happy Saturday! Osha is doing very well. I haven't been following the rules of reduction (3 drops below 50). With work, I just hate dealing with the low numbers. She is currently at 1.75u. She hasn't been on that small of a dose since September of 2016 o_O She has been as high as 5.5u, but her normal range is typically between 3-4u. Our cats certainly don't like to be typical! So far now, we are just going with it and enjoying using less insulin!!

I am excited about the movement on the visa for Sébastien and I to get married. @Photorecon . So far they have approved my petition for an alien fiancee visa, sent it to the national visa center and now have sent it to the US embassy in Montreal. The next steps are to apply for the K1 visa, send in the financial support form and for Sébastien to have his medical exam and interview. It is exciting that things are moving forward!!!

Have a great day!

So happy things are moving along. Does this part of it take long?

What's happening with the seizure issue? Did they ever get the results of the scans and figure it out?

Wow I had no idea there was so much involved in getting the visa!

Also a ton of $$$$ involved too. :blackeye::mad:

I think this part is moving much faster than the original petition. They said it should be a few weeks until the interview. He did get the medical test results from the hospital and many other visits about a week ago. Unfortunately, none of the tests gave any results that are usable. They still haven't been able to pin point where the seizures are coming from. Now he is on the wait list to have the same hospital test again (off all meds and eeg monitoring for seizures) but this time they will insert the electrodes deep into the brain and hope to get some usable recordings that way. I kind of just wish he was here in the us and could have the test done now. Last time he was on the wait list for 9 months to have the previous test. So basically, we have no idea. They have changed his meds a couple of times since the hospital stay. It just feels like a guessing game.
