New morning routine for us - Benny is waiting for me in the kitchen when I get up. It was a few minutes earlier than usual, so I figured I'd start my coffee, then sit down to check email, etc. But when I finished getting the coffeemaker set up, I turned around and Benny is waiting for me on the counter where we do his pokes. "C'mon Mom, let's do this - I'm hungry!"

Decided to do a +1 this morning, because I'm light on data for that point. Lower than I expected at 79 - so we'll check again at +2. He had his usual morning feed at 7:30 when he got his shot, and he cleaned up the whole amount and licked his dish clean, so that should kick in soon and push his numbers up.

ETA - 53 @ +3; fed some HC snacks and a bit of wet food. Will retest in a few. On the one hand, I'd be happy to see him earn a reduction; on the other hand, these wild rides are nerve-wracking!

ETA (2) - 48 @ +3.5; fed more HC snacks and a bit of honey; up to 56 @ +3.75; will continue to monitor frequently. Has earned a dose reduction, will reduce from 0.75 to 0.5 this evening

Bouncy Benny - after surfing in the low greens all day and keeping me on my toes, earning a dose reduction, he shot up to a 203 for his PMPS. First yellow we’ve seen in several days.

Well, we’ll stick with the program and see how he goes. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with his progress!

Thanks! Erin here, Scott is more of a nominal member, he doesn’t actually participate here but Benny is “his” boy. I don’t know why, but I just felt like I should get an early test this morning. Good thing, too!
