AMPS 157 shooting 2.5F
Hopefully will see some green today.
Boomer ate every smidgeon of food last night! At +3 after he finished that meal and I opened his "buffet" he dove into the other 2 meals; I allowed him to eat a wee bit then had to remove him and take him to bed.
Update on female Common Merganser.....well I visited the river twice yesterday (DH came with me the second time) to look for the duck but I could not find it. I'm telling myself that she managed to dislodge it all by herself but chances are there is another explanation.
I spoke with the rehabbers yesterday and they weren't sure they could help her anyways since she was in the middle of the river. Anyways, I go to this location often so I will watch for her and let them know if I see her again.
Today's photo is from last summer.....I was standing on the deck at Greenway (same location as above) and the resident Osprey suddenly came into view and dove into the river. Not sure how I missed reviewing/editing this shot last year!
