We are finally home at 4:45p!
At ER from 11:40a to 3:50p.
There were NO emergencies that came in. Know this bc we were at room next to front desk.
Oh well, I guess there were high paying bill animals to take care of. Ours was only $176.59... After all too, there was no obvious concern with Nelli not eating (but 3T. in three days) and having diarrhea this morning.

@Bellasmom , No detectable worms, vitals good
Vet wanted to check BG for fear she had gone high since AMPS > wipped out iPad, opened SS (he-he!) and showed him (recent) +3. “Oh, ok” he said.
Thanks to @Olive & Paula who shouted stick to your guns and @tiffmaxee who also shouted out stand your ground and don’t budge.
I asked for dewormer- given Drontal, 2 tablets once.

When Bella would t eat at the beginning of the month, I syringe fed him chicken baby food as it’s bland mixed with water, a little at a time and only gave 1/2 dose just that 1 time, by pmps he was eating as the appy meds kicked in

@Krystina & Nelli , I am answering here since Jamie tagged me here. I am so sorry that Nelli and you were at the ER. Did they give you something for nausea? Do you have any Slippery Elm Bark where you can make a SEB ball to give her to help with nausea?

When Bubba goes off his feed for whatever reason, a toothache or gastro intestinal upset, I can just about always count on him eating some all meat baby food. Have you tried that? or sprinkling some parmesan cheese on her food?

Do you have the list of things to try when they are off their feed? If not let me know.

What did the ER say? Sorry for so many questions, I have been offline most of the day. Was away with granddaughter and then some issues with Forrest.

I just went to health and got caught up. Saw where Carla posted all the things to try for appy stimulant. I hope you have some SEB and can get some into her. Keep trying all the appy stimulant tricks. I think the vet should have given some cerenia for her.

Wasn't that mouth smacking DX as reflux issue when it occurred before and we all though it was a dental issue?

Yes Bobbie and Nelli subsequently went to Vet Dentist for exam and cleaning... got an A+ ;)
Still has all her teeth- it was this Vet that allowed me to read between the line, threw out acid reflux.

Happy Birthday, Jamie. Looks like Bella has a good surf going this evening. Let's hope he stays on his surfboard and lets you get some sleep. The Full Wolf Moon party should keep him busy!

@Krystina & Nelli : A sprinkle of FortiFlora on top of her food might help get Nelli's appetite back. It has "animal digest" in it. This is what they put into dry kibble to make it irresistible. Sending healing vines!
