Good morning!
AMPS 164 shooting 2.5F

Boomer ate most of his overnight fuds, leaving about a tbsp. And he ate all by himself again! He did have access to his overnight fuds until around +11 and he did leave his spot beside me just before that so he likely did eat close to +11.

Yesterday I did manage to get out in the afternoon and visited 3 of my favourite spots but nothing was happening in two of them:( in the third I did see a bunch of cardinals, chickadees, juncos, and some finches including a couple of house finches which was a nice surprise.

Today I hope to get out; the deep freeze sets in tomorrow for the next 3 days and there are weather warnings out, apparently a storm is heading our way:arghh:

Today's photo was taken a few days ago at Woodland Cemetery where the deer are always available and willing to pose! I call this one "Simon Says".

Nice job eating on your own, Boomer.

It seems like our weather tends to head your way. We have exactly the same forecast... and if we're really "lucky" we might get some lake effect snow on top of the system snow.

Nice start Boomer!

Love the photo and they really do look like they are posing!

We had a little snow mixed with freezing rain last night. Tomorrow evening another storm to come. Hope it's not bad as Sunday we wanted to go to take my grand daughter to breakfast ; she lives an hour away.

@Ella & Rusty & Stu(GA) haven't "seen" you around for a few days; hope everything is ok!
All is good. We just got back from NY City. I don't have access to wi-fi there, and my iPhone needed a new battery (which I was able to get installed, finally), so I didn't spend much time on the internet. Big news, however: we have adopted a cat!! (a 10-year old civvie, who we have named "Gus"). He's a bit overweight and had been in a Vermont shelter since August, when he was returned after 4 years by his family because of a new baby (can you imagine?). We picked him up on our way back from NYC. He was a fine traveler and did the 4-hour drive from central Vermont flawlessly--even the part on the Grande Isle ferry (through broken ice). I'll post an introduction on the board, with picture, later today.

Lookin' good, Boomer. Now bring that number down to green.
Great shot of the deer.

Yes, a major winter storm is approaching. We are expecting 10-15 inches of snow tomorrow through Sunday and frigid temperatures (highs below zero Fahrenheit!). We're glad we got back from the city when we did.

I thought that perhaps you were in NYC but didn't realize you didn't have wi-fi there!
Congratulations on adopting Gus! Looking forward to pictures!
