Bailey is in a mood today, moreso than usual. I'm hoping all that meowing, swiping and biting has tired her out enough so that I can do laundry in the big, bad, freight train sounding washing machine. The pile is getting really big
She is grooming now after getting her +2.5 food so hopefully this means she's ok, and she was just a bit out of sorts this morning. I hope it doesn't keep escalating, though, because it's getting to be a real challenge. Right now, it takes both my daughter and me working together to give her her shots.
I want my sweet quiet Bailey back
Also, I am currently testing 4 meters because I clearly have a testing problem: ReliOn Prime (my usual), One Drop(the newest), Pettest Advocate, and the Alphatrak ($$$$$

). Results are in the third tab on Bailey's spreadsheet, along with a note about the OneDrop. I will try to use all 4 meters when I suspect I am hitting Bailey's nadir, or possibly at shot time if the Prime number seems crazy low, assuming I can get a drop of blood big enough in between her biting attempts.
My eventual plan is to use the OneDrop on a daily basis, with the Pettest Advocate as my backup. Does that sound like a good plan?
**For anyone considering the OneDrop with their unlimited strips plan, it does require that you use their app and sync it to the meter which allows them to see how many strips you are actually using. I haven't been able to do that yet, but just wanted to give a heads up.
Sorry for the novel-length post. By the time I finished writing this, Bailey fell asleep. It's laundry time.
