Holidays have officially ended here, and things will get back to routine.
Had a wonderful time with my DD all this time, and my DS for a few short days at Christmas.
After yesterday's teary goodbye, I'm ready to get back to business with the help of my youngest DD who will help with testing :)

Hope this new year has been treating everyone well!

On which of the above 3 days do you think that Bailey discovered the washing machine that sounds like a runaway freight train is ripping through the house?
By royal decree, laundry shall only be done when HRH is asleep in her bedroom with relaxing background music to drown out the sound of the freight train. :cat:
 
Ravan's BG goes really high when I bring him to the Vet. He hates the car ride & being at the vet. (I don't blame him I don't like going to the DR either!)

Haha! She definitely doesn't like the washer! Scooter's room is the laundry room. He doesn't mind a bit, but then he also finds the vacuum and the steam mop fascinating!

Wish Bailey were like that! I've got a lot of accumulated laundry to work on!

Is Scooter laid back in general? Does he mind guests? Bailey is afraid of EVERYTHING!
Actually, her fear is the reason why we adopted her. She was the only kitty in the room who would not let go of the human volunteer at the pet adoption event, clinging on for dear life, while all the other kitties were roaming around the room being mischievous. My daughter pointed and said, "I want her."

Bailey gets stressed over so many things, including the vet. Kind of worked out that she was diagnosed once the kids have grown, and we no longer have a lot of commotion at the house. Otherwise, our lives would be soooo much more stressful.
We once had a pet sitter who only knew we had a cat because the dry food would disappear and little gifts would be left in the litter box. Sad part is, he commented to me that he would sit in the room and coax her to come out everyday, and he was surprised that she wouldn't since all his other cats would come out. I was pretty upset because who knows how scared she must have been as he sat in the house for 20 minutes calling her to come out after he was explicitly told she is afraid of strangers.

Scooter fears nothing! He finds guest interesting, car rides are fine, the vet is fine. Poke his ear and give him a shot, no problem from day one. He is the most laid back cat I’ve ever seen. It sure makes the FD thing easier!
 
All of mine or in your face as soon as you walk through the door! Jones especially was one of the official first greeters.

Hope Bailey has a good cycle today.

That's exactly how Mandarin is. Luckily, my cat sitter is fine just putting the food down and leaving the room. She knows that he won't eat if he can still see her and if Mandarin doesn't eat immediately, one of the other cats will gobble it up.
