JIll & Jade/// My civvie ,Dexter,crossed over today

My sweet sweet boy Dexter was seemingly fine just a few weeks ago. Just before Christmas I noticed his third eyelid was showing and he seemed a bit off. I took him to the vet and they found that his left kidney was enlarged and he was very constipated ( it took 2 enemas to clean him out). I knew he was constipated and had been giving him pumpkin in his food. Long story short, we think his issue was neurological. He declined quickly and this morning he looked at me and I knew he was ready. My heart is broken. I know everyone here understands. I just got home from the vet and I don't think Jade realizes he's gone. SO sad.

I'm so sorry to hear about your dear civvie, Dexter's, crossing. He was a very lucky kitty to have you for his mamabean. He knew that you loved him enough to give him everything he wanted and needed, including the ultimate gift - freedom. As you adjust to the new "normal" in your life, remember he will never be far away, as he will always be firmly in your heart. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Jill, this is horrible. I am so sorry to read this sad news. From the pic you posted, he looks just like my soul kitty who I lost some years ago
Poor Jade - she'll need lots of TLC (you both will) I think we are nearly neighbors - if you need anything, just pm me.

Oh Jill, I am so sorry to hear Dexter is no longer with you. It is so hard regardless, but when it all happens so quickly, it can be an extra big shock to the system. My heart aches for the pain you are feeling right now. Sending you many hugs along with vines of comfort, love, and peace. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
