Good morning!
AMPS 106 shooting 2.5F
Well that AMPS was a surprise; it appeared he was starting a bounce last night at +3.
I gave Boomer a slightly larger +3 last night. At 3:30 (+ 8.5) I woke up and as soon as I moved he got down from his bench and went into the kitchen. I waited....and sure enough he came back to the door and started with his pathetic little kitten meews.
I waited him out though and sure enough he gave up (reasonably quickly) and I heard him eating. He tried one more meew afterwards; then came back to bed. But he didn't eat a lot of the +6 and he didn't eat his +9. I may have to start letting him free-feed during the night.
Today I have plans to meet a friend who is going to show me where she has been seeing Beavers on a local pond. Then I'm going to show her where the Great Horned Owls are hanging out. I'm supposed to meet her at 9:00 (+2) so I will test Boomer at +1.5...he really should be bouncing
This afternoon I'm hoping I can persuade DH to go for a ride. It's supposed to be sunny today and for the next few days so I hope to spend a lot of it outdoors!
Today's photo is of the Redtail Hawk that allowed me several photos the other day. At one point he flew down to the ground and was moving the snow around so I think he must have heard a mouse under the snow. He didn't find anything and eventually flew back up into the tree.
