I went a little overboard on testing tonight. In my defense I took two people giving me a heads up seriously.
I think I can safely go to bed now while leaving out some wet food. I've never seen Bear's BG lower by PMPS in the yellows.
I'm guessing that is his Depot coming into play? I just don't have enough understanding of the workings of Lantus at this point.

Yes, depot should be close to full. Bear is also still new to a Lantus and his body needs to learn how to work with the new insulin. It will take a while yet to really spot patterns,

Just saw your taq now. I curled up on the sofa with 2 furballs at about 10:30 last night and fell fast asleep with one across my legs and the other stretched from my chest to my tummy. BLISS!

Well I wouldn't call it celebrating, lol. My son called from Seattle and we talked about DNA and the recent lady that I helped discover who her father was, did some psychoanalyzing, debating between genetic inheritance vs environmental traits, discovered my son is a lot like his mother but crazier. Lol. Rang in the New Year together. DH was exhausted so he was abed & slept through New Year.

I see such an improvement in Bear. Why didn't I switch to Lantus when you first suggested it?
