Really, Walter?!? I was so excited when I saw his "almost green" number this morning. But pretty much no action since then. And this is the first time he has been in blue at any time other than his AMBG. So what do I do now? The numbers are not terrible and he is at least staying below 120 today. But they are certainly not great either.

Mandarin decided to throw in some blues too, but his pancreas certainly kicked in between +2 and +4.

And it's been raining non-stop here. I had hoped to take my dogs on a long hike to tire them out before the fireworks start, but that's not going to happen. Instead, we are just sitting on the couch, under a blanket, reading a book .

I think that I would also give it some more time as the numbers are still "normal" numbers. It seemed to me that during our OTJ trials, Bubba would pull some funny stuff with blues. As long as they are under 120, I would keep on the trial.

Anything going on that might be stressing him? Since it is just barely blue, I think I'd give him a chance and see what happens tonight and tomorrow.
Not sure if there’s anything particularly stressful going in, but someone just hacked up a huge (and I mean HUGE) hair ball. I don’t know if it was him, but that could certainly explain the numbers. Really hoping for some green tonight!

...and I don’t think it was Mandarin - he’s has been totally steady in the 60s and low 70s today (after a brief food spike at +2).

I guess he just doesn't want to head to the lagoon today. :arghh: I'll check again before I go to bed... but I don't expect a great number with fireworks starting to go off and everyone being a bit stressed. Let's hope he starts the new year in green.:D
