:banghead: So a “Fat 2” didn’t bring her green and by eye I would say that’s probably 2.1U. 2.2U just sent her lime. I am at a point where I don’t know what on earth to do.
 
A cat who is getting carbs will bounce around like this, but if I remember correctly, you have removed all dry or high carb food already. So it could just be that she's bouncy. You have her on a reasonable dose with the numbers you're seeing, so I would probably hold the dose at 2.1u for another cycle or two and keep an eye on her. See if it happens again or if she evens out.
 
Thank Djamila. Literally a ZERO carb house for the last 2 months. I gave 2.2 today as well as last night and she was high last night. She also got 2.2 on the 28th and lowest read was 195 other than the low AMPS yesterday which prompted my “fat 2” yesterday am. Would you suggest I hold the 2.2 or go back to “fat 2” ? Do you think fat 2 could eventually get her lower than 195?
 
Ah, sorry. I read your post wrong and didn't check the units on the SS. I would try 2.1 (or your fat 2) for a couple of cycles. I cant' predict if it will eventually get her lower or not - we only really know things in hindsight around here. Give it a cycle or two and if nothing better shows up, try the 2.2 again. Sometimes just a drop can make a difference.
 
I agree with Djamila. Hold the dose at 2.1 u (fat 2 u). Resist the temptation to dose hop. It really is counterproductive.
 
Ok. I did hold the fat 2 for the recommended cycles and lowest was high 100s which is why I went up to 2.2. Geez louweeez! I suck at this
 
The reason why 2.1 u was suggested is because 2.2 u brought him down to 66, a lime green. That's too low.

You don't suck at this. It takes awhile to start to get a feel for it. And like I said, none of us can know if a dosing decision was right until after we've tried it and collected the data. Plus, you have a bouncy kitty, so you can do everything "right" and still end up with weird results sometimes. Hormones are complicated, and the littlest thing can impact the results. Things none of us can see in advance. Be patient with yourself, and remember to breathe.
