Good Morning L, B, & L ~

Merry Christmas Eve!

We were back at the vets on Friday for a recheck and both ears have a bit of yeast in them yet. Bubba seems to be doing somewhat better, all of the areas he had scratched opened are closed with an exception of one on the back of his head that was reopened from his scratching...... I imagine the scabs itch.

He likes the new proteins we are rotating, eggs, and cod fish. ETA: and turkey. He still is isolating down in the basement which breaks my heart.

Vines to all Beans and Kitties in need.

OT: My sister and brother are arriving this afternoon to have Christmas Eve dinner with us and visit our mother.

Ravan had bumps on the edge of one ear that were sore i couldn't even touch his ear. Been using only the other one for testing.I had been using neosporin which seemed to make it worse.
Several days ago I started using a tiny bit of Organic ,raw coconut oil. The bumps are GONE! I can even test that ear again. Maybe it would help Bubba's ear?

Merry Christmas! Hope you have fun & enjoy dinner with family :D

Felix and I are sending comfort vines for Bubba. I had a lot of ear infections when I was a little girl, and I still can't stand to have my ears touched, so I feel extra awful about these kitties and their ear-fear.

Glad that most of the areas that Bubba had scratched open are healing and fingers crossed that it'll just be a little longer before he fells more like his normal, happy, social self.

Dear Bobbie - thank you for all you do in advising others on this board. Your darling Bubba will come through this, though I'm sure he doesn't understand his isolation. We have a youngster who gets yeast in his ears something awful, and when paired with nasty bumps on his face, he's a mess. I feel your pain.

Happy Holidays to you and your whole household.

Sorry you and poor Bubba are going through this. Hopefully, Bubba will be completely healed soon so that he can come out of isolation.
Glad you have found proteins that are more agreeable for Bubba.

I hope you are having a wondeful Christmas with your family.
