my cat is on venslin from the vet we still our watching his levels but they are everywhere i have switched his food and he does not eat it. dr stated they might put him on human insulin lantus i have heard a few people state they order it from canada. How would i go about doing this? the cost of this is really hurting evwry month im in the hole! thanks for any help

Here's the information on Buying Lantus from Canada

It's a lot cheaper than here in the states!!….a 5 pack of pens is enough insulin to last most cats at least a year so it ends up being quite affordable.

Ask your vet for a prescription for the pens instead of a vial. You will use the pens like mini vials and will be able to use almost every drop. With the vial the insulin will become ineffective long before you can use all of it. So you will waste a lot of money. Depending on your dose, one package of pens could last 9 months or more .
