Yesterday's thread, full of so much amazing support from all of you.

Spending today relaxing a bit; it's been a crazy work week with lots of nights out. Feels good to be a homebody!!

I thought it would be fun to share a photo today of my civvie, Brixie! She's gotten a bit less attention since River's diagnosis, but today we had snuggle time in bed while I did the crossword puzzle. Look at that dreamy thousand-mile stare…straight into your soul.

What a pretty lady! Look at those loving eyes!! Brixie is beautiful! I know what you mean about the civvies...always taking the back seat for attention aren't they :)

I have three kitties. Teasel gets a ton of attention because of all the FD stuff and he loves it, being a natural attention hog. I try to give extra time to each of his siblings. His brother is my lap cat and loves watching Netflix with me. His sister gets her extra treats, etc. at various other times when the brothers aren't in her way. :)

It's all about balance <3
Brixie is such a love. She keeps to herself for the most part — and likes it that way — but snuggles with DH a lot, and always jumps up on the dining room table to boop noses with me when I get home. Sigh. Can't imagine my life without kitties, even though I grew up with dogs.

Also, what the hell is River's BG doing today? I should probably do another curve for her at some point — things have just been so crazy around here.
