Good morning!
AMPS 110 shooting 3.0u

Boomer ate hardly any of his +6 or +9 fuds. But he did have lots to eat at +3; ever since his low cycle the other day when we had to give him higher carb ff he is insisting on the higher carb ff being added to his pm+3 or he refuses to eat it  He eats all of his daytime meals just fine but starts being Mr. Fussypants at PM+3 when I want to go to bed. Might have to find a brand new food for him for his pm+3 and/or try letting him free feed overnight instead of using the auto feeder.

Yesterday we did get out for a drive in search of a Snowy Owl and no, we did not find one:( We actually did not see much of anything; no Redtail Hawks seemed to be around, not much of anything really. Well with one exception....I spotted this guy on a fence. I believe it's a Merlin and it's a first for me. Not a great shot; the light was horrible yesterday and it was a bit windy making holding my long lens steady quite difficult. But it is what it is.

It is absolutely beautiful here right now (although there is a severe thunderstorm watch out for later today). Warm and sunny! I just went to 5 different locations and could count on one hand the number of songbirds I saw. :arghh: And zero photos of them! There were a couple of odd looking duck-like birds at the river so I got several shots of them. Then I drove through a cemetery where I know there are two Great Horned Owls (and I know the general area within the cemetery where they hang out) but couldn't find them. There were about 15 deer hanging out together so I got some shots of them. Sunny warm day = no birds. :(
Still considering going for a drive outside the city....I've been lucky enough in the last few days to spot two types of hawks that are new to me however the images have been terrible because the light has been terrible. Today it's much brighter out.
