Yesterday Cabergoline Day 52

I realized after I shot this morning (since I got sleep) I should have taken the reducie. The PMPS was a bounce (or wacky number) and cleared it same cycle. So I will take reducie tonight. Question for @Wendy&Neko do I go with .25 or .5? I know I can bring dose back up if .5 is to much (would hate to do that though) but .25 might not be enough and she will need another quickly (I don't know if that's good either). I can't believe we are going under 5 units. Her pain med was also reduced so I have to figure out if readings are going up whether its pain or needs more insulin.

Yesterday she came trotting in to kitchen with tail all the way up, another sign of feeling good. Tail has been half up the last week or so.

Everyone have a good day. For the people in the path of Storm Bruce be safe out there.

I have to go to banks and maybe if I feel like it go to facility and help decorate.

Go Olive Go! But stay safe obviously! Gosh it is so exciting to see how well she is doing and now her dose is going under 5. Keep up the good work Olive!

Her tail is up & she's playing! Sounds GREAT to me. :joyful:
Maybe she's feeling better from less Meds? (Sometimes they make kitty a bit doped up or even nauseous)
What ever is causing her to feel Good is wonderful!
Ravan went low on his dose yesterday but I don't want to decrease yet! I'm so happy to see his bg lower.

Great report on Olive! Wow, that cabergoline is like magic! I'm so happy for you and Olive.

I wish I was more diligent getting it sooner. Remember it might not work for all kitties. I hope we can get her to a much lower insulin dose. I'm not to sure the "r" word (don't even want to say it) is in our future as she can still pop those pinkies.

With a larger depot, and cabergoline in the picture, a 0.5 unit reduction may be best. Given also that you are out of the house more too.

I’m loving the Olive report. :)

Sounds good @Wendy&Neko. I can always count on you to show the reasoning when I'm indecisive. I think the decrease of bupre is having an impact to. Since this mornings ambush on the shoelace she has been slunking around. Her face shows she doesn't feel to good. I'll keep same dose of bupre tonight and re-evaluate that in the morning.

She wasn't to eager to come eat PMPS but she did eat just not with enthusiasm. Her walk is very cautious again, she didn't bug to eat +9 snack. Therefore I increased bupre back to previous dose and left the insulin dose alone. I think getting the pain under control is priority for this time. Her insulin dose will come down in time. I will be home until Friday to keep both eyes on her. Apparently she just isn't ready for less bupre yet.
