Yesterday's thread.

I am cautiously optimistic that River's bounces may be slowing down.
This is the first day EVER that we've had 2 blue AMPS in a row…

And by some meteorological miracle, United Airlines offered us a penalty-free flight change because of some incoming wintry weather. So we are at the airport waiting for our plane as we speak, instead of leaving Monday morning to go back home. See you in a few hours, River-girl! (And Brixie.)

Home sweet home. Hope you got a friendly greeting. :cat: It’ll be interesting to see what she is doing at night given those blue AMPS.

Depending on where she is at PMPS, I might try a +2 or 3. Looks like she had a good day today.

It’s great you are getting lap time instead of shunning.

Pre 911 if you flew in business and knew what to say getting into the jump seat was loads of fun. In May for the first time ever "I can see my house from here" actually became true. It was just the water tower but that's close enough. I love turbulence etc., it's airports I hate. And Air Canada, snot-nosed brats!

Pre-9/11. I barely even remember it.

When does River normally eat?
Thanks Rosie :bighug: Well, the pet sitter was here the past several days so she was getting a can and a quarter of her FF before each shot. We did the same tonight. Hoping to keep her on a routine of sorts as we’re leaving town again next Thurs.

You should get a +3.
Got one: 108. I guess I’m more concerned that she’s puked up a lot of tonight’s food and she still seems to want more, and I don’t know if that’s her bod freaking out, an impending crash, etc....

That's good. She's probably safe.

Do you think she can keep a little bit of food down if you give her some, just to be safe?

Not a lot of people on tonight, but I'll tag @Carol in Chicago to see if she has input. I am fairly new myself, but I think if River eats a little bit, she should be safe tonight.
I have had nights where I feed Bailey, and she keeps dropping anyway so I am fighting the insulin. Doesn't look like that's happening here, though.

DH is on duty to check her in an hour. I'll have him give her a bit more food then.

@Bobbie And Bubba
Any dosing advice for River today?
Did suggesting food at +3 77 contribute to the bounce today, or was that large bounce going to happen anyway?
I know the mantra is safety first, which is why I suggested it.

Looks like the 2 u is working nicely. The LC food giving at the 77 last night was a good idea to slow down River some, and I don't think caused a bounce, it was more likely going into a green number caused him to pop back up.
