Thank you so much for checking on us. I just start getting nervous when I see the blue numbers. Sorry I am such a whimp, I need to get a hold of my nerves.Hi wishing you a nice day, Yoyo is looking good nice blue at +4, I would just let him eat as he needs/wants he's underweight and still a bit unregulated
Agreed. You don't need to slow him down.Hi wishing you a nice day, Yoyo is looking good nice blue at +4, I would just let him eat as he needs/wants he's underweight and still a bit unregulated
Blue is a good thing you want him with a lot of blues and actually blue means he's between 100 and 199 which is good and closer to normal and also far from hypo so not really dangerous, besides for what I can see you are lucky Yoyo is not a diver which will help you a lotI just start getting nervous when I see the blue numbers.
Again, Thank you, thank you everyone! I have a lot to be thankful for, and that goes to this site and the people that give their time and care to the ones in need!Blue is a good thing you want him with a lot of blues and actually blue means he's between 100 and 199 which is good and closer to normal and also far from hypo so not really dangerous, besides for what I can see you are lucky Yoyo is not a diver which will help you a lot

I had to get a +5 in there just to see what was going on. I did the test with the Alphatrak2 test strip and got 143. Then I used the Freestyle InsulinX test strip and got 150. Seems pretty close. I used the same sample of blood, I moved quicklyVery nice +4 Yoyo!
Debra, you are fine. You care about Yoyo, and we are here as your support. No worries
Agreed. You don't need to slow him down.
We can start discussing slowing him down when he has a blue start and starts going in to greens. I think the amount you fed him is perfect.
I would get another test at +6 or +7 to see if he goes any lower. Also, only small snacks after +7, if he needs them at all. Let's see if we can get a nice PMPS.

I used code 38.I did get a reply back and the person informed me to change the code to 38 when using InsulinX. Any advise on this?
