November 14, 2018 Condo - Day 8 Post Dental

Good morning all,
After having literally ONE good cycle on the 2.75u dose, Lou looks like he needs another increase. Wendy was saying her Neko needed 10 days after her dental for the inflammation to go down and bring the dose down. Today is Lou's 10th day. I was planning on waiting to see what he did today before increasing, but I don't know if that means I should just wait and see if 10 days is Lou's magic number or if I should increase tonight to try to get him out of these high numbers. I am so tired of the pink tone to Lou's spreadsheet lately. He had a rough October and November isn't shaping up to be much better for obvious reasons. So I could use some guidance. Normally I would be okay with waiting, but the consistent high numbers have me worried to stay at the same dose.

I hope you all have a wonderful day today and your kitties stay safe out there. Sending vines for Mr. Jones (@Tracey&Jones), Miss P (@Phoebes), and to anyone else in need. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I would give it today to see. You have 10 days after surgery idea and today makes cycle 6 from that green that Lou maybe bouncing from.

Thank you for the vines!

I would give him today to prove himself. Not because of the 10 days, but because it’s six cycles after getting to the 50’s and you don’t want to increase on a bounce breaking cycle. After that, increase time. Even though it took Neko 10 days to get over her extraction/jaw bump removal, I still increased to get over the ugly numbers and let her numbers tell me when it was time to go back down.

Hey Lou, whatya gonna do about the dosecrease threat?

So randomly enough, Lou popped a mid-blue today. Unfortunately, Caleb didn't understand or notice the significance and went to run errands. He didn't recheck, which is not usual. So I don't know how low he went. Weirdly enough, it's possible he just coasted without going to the lagoon. Who knows? I was going to increase tonight, but now I need to see what he's going to do first. I kept his dose tonight and will reassess in the morning.

Dosing based on what you see, vs what might have been, is this dose giving you the numbers you want in general?

Definitely not. I'll be honest and say I think I panicked a bit when dosing tonight. The unknown of healing after a dental is throwing me off my game I think. Unless something absolutely crazy happens, I'll up the dose to 3.0u tomorrow morning.
